Vehicle Fault Report
The owner came to the repair shop reporting that the engine warning light was illuminated and the engine was exhibiting noticeable vibrations. The owner indicated that the vehicle felt uncomfortable while driving and was not operating normally.

Fault Diagnosis
1. Fault Code Reading
A diagnostic tool was used to read the fault codes, revealing a multi-cylinder misfire error. This indicated the need for further inspection of the engine components.
2. Sound Check
The hood was opened, and a stethoscope was used to listen to the engine, confirming that the abnormal noise was primarily coming from the transmission.
Fault Analysis
Based on the symptoms and common issues of the vehicle, it was determined that the problem likely lay with the dual mass flywheel (DMF). Upon disassembly, it was found that the flywheel had been exposed to water, leading to rust. The rust caused significant wear and misalignment, ultimately resulting in engine vibration and misfire.
Solution
1. Part Replacement
Based on the inspection results, it was decided to replace the dual mass flywheel with the original manufacturer part (DMF 415051809 LuK) to ensure the restoration of vehicle performance.
2. Installation and Testing
After the replacement was completed, a road test was conducted to ensure all faults had been resolved and the vehicle returned to a normal operating state.
